2013 Summit Nomad 99cm skiboards are symmetrical twin tips constructed for high performance riding with stability at speeds you won't believe. Made for all mountain riding, the wide body shape is equally at home on the groomed runs as well as in the crud or floating in powder. Summit skiboards are designed to push the limits of what you thought was possible on the slopes.
Handcrafted with a vertically laminated tip-to-tail wood core, light but super strong, allowing for a smooth flex throughout the board (quite different from cheaper made skiboards).
High energy birch wood core is sandwiched between two layers of triaxial fiberglass providing just the right combination of flex and torsional stiffness that offers an incredibly smooth ride as well as a layer of Kevlar. Rubber dampening layer absorbs vibration.
Just think about turning and you are into a carve. Total control and stable carves even at speed. ABS sidewall construction provides increased torsional stability, greater edge protection, enhanced power transfer to the edges and greater strength.
For intermediate to advanced adult all mountain riding - groomed as well as park and pipes. Wide body platform delivers great floatation in the deep stuff.
Mounted with step-in release bindings: Atomic XTE++10 Ski Release Bindings allow full flex of the skiboards (come with free mounting). Includes wide brakes at no extra charge. These bindings feature: DIN range of 3-10. Twin pivot. Toe height adjustment. Adjust by hand. Fits ski boot sizes (4-12) 273-384 mm.
