This kit does what you want it to do. The edger works very well, and comes with two files to suit your needs. The instructions are clear for this tool, although a bit sparse for the novice waxer. The rest of the kit is ample, not lavish, but gets the job done. You'll need to buy more wax immediately as the two bars provided are small.The real drawback to the kit was the company producing it. They were horribly slow in shipping the item, and their emails were unempathetic, to say the least. There are similar kits from better companies, so IMO it's best to buy elsewhere.

Nice kit. It contains everything you need to keep your skis in shape. The edge sharpener was a bit confusing to figure out which is edge and which is bottom configuration. Instructions need to be better for the sharpener.

I should have paid more attention to the other reviews because they are pretty accurate. The directions are poorly written and the file tool is not easy to figure out. There's no label of what each item is in the kit. The directions refer to things that aren't in the kit. The file tool does seem to work OK. There's enough wax for one tuning and then you'll need to buy more. The file brush is cheap. The kit does not include a diamond stone which is really nice to have. Overall, I'm nott impressed with this kit and wish I had built my own kit by buying each needed item individually.
