Atomic ETL 123 cm Skiboards Skis 2013
Product Description
Introducing the all new Atomic ETL 123 cm skis/skiboards. Always popular at the Skiboards Superstore, the Atomic 123 cm skis/skiboards use atomic race technology. Constructed with nanocarbon technology, used in Atomic's higher end racing skis, along with sintered bases, these skis/skiboards rival the speed of many longer skis as well as providing effortless carving and stability at speed.
The Atomic ETL 123cm is great not only for those who want to easily learn to ski, but for intermediate and advanced riders who want to turn fast, stop fast and rip in the moguls and glades. These are perfect for those who want to tackle steeper and deeper terrain without having to compromise the control and maneuverability of short skis or skiboards. Their new technology will definitely take your skills to the next level.
The ETL 123 features a rounded front tip and upturned rear tail to maximize performance, with the asymmetrical twin tip design (both tips are raised, the fronts are higher than the backs) making it easier to ride backwards and for trick riding.
Bindings: Atomic XTE 10 integrated race binding system with step-in convenience and extra safety features. The XTE 10 release bindings are easy to adjust yourself without tools and fit any ski boots sole length range 273-380mm. DIN setting range of 3.5 to 10.
"These are great for groomed runs, hardpack, ice, and some powder and crud conditions. These are fast, turn quick and provide a length that is easy to manuever. Very stable at speed." Doc
About Nanocarbon Technology: The nanoframe provides twice the stability of conventional skis or skiboards with 22% more power in its return flex. Nanocarbon is 100 times stronger than steel but with one/sixth the weight. Translated, these are smoother riding on all types of terrain, more lively and responsive, and provide increased stability at speed.

I am not a big reviewer, but these skis are worth a A+ review!I am a skier with more than 15 years experience. In order to mix regular skiing, I even tried to snowboard for a while, but realized that snowboarding is not for me. Sometimes, on the slopes I see people with short skis and I always wanted to try those.I started exploring the snowblades or skiboards market (those are 99cm or 100 cm skis) and found this beautiful model that sits somewhere in between regular skis and snowblades. With the length of 123 cm and regular bindings with the brakes, I thought these would be a good try. These skis did not disappoint, and they are now my favorite skis. I skied for several weeks and never wanted to change to regular skis. Turns are easy and skiing is so much fun. Yesterday, I went skiing with two friends: one of them did not ski for 10 years and second just started skiing 3 weeks ago. I made the adjustments (very easy to do) for their boot size and they tried my ETLs. They loved them as well. Moreover, a friend of mine borrowed my pair of ETLs for skiing on weekdays, by claiming that: "You do not ski on weekdays anyways" :)One downside: since they are short, they are not stable when going straight on the high speed - that's why I recommend make a series of short turns if you have to go fast.
