Just used this helmet for the first time yesterday. In 22 degrees flurries and light wind it was warm on the ears and comfortable. A very good value. Measured my head circumference, went by the size chart online and the fit was just right. A person I skied with was using a helmet with on-the-fly variable vents which this helmet does not have, and he said he has not opened his vents all season. Hey, its a ski helmet, you'll be in the cold pretty much every time you use it, so why bother with the more expensive model? If it does get too hot, this helmet's vents have removable plugs that come out easily.The finish I got was gloss black. If I had a do-over, I'd probably get the matte black, which another friend had just gotten; it looked good and is less prone to showing finger smudges.The Smith goggle designed for the helmet (I got the 'Monashee' model) fit the helmet perfectly, holds on with a goggle strap clip built into the back of the helmet, and works as a unit with the helmet. The helmet felt light, comfortable, not cumbersome.Helmet seems well-made with good materials. It feels like it will last a few seasons or more. Recommended.

I ordered a large helmet and received a small helmet...... thinking I had made an error I checked my order... well I was right I DID order a large and THE outter packaging upon arrival "white L" but the helmet had a small tag and indeed was a small. I sent an email but got no response . Then I wrote a NEGATIVE review that of course was answered with an explaination and an "correction ASAP" but Ive received nothing else no e-mail no call NO HELMET!!!!! SAD JOHN

Awesome helmet for my ski loving 10 year old. Adjustable straps make for a good fit. Amazingly lightweight! Would buy again.
