5Awesome!!
By KP
25 yr. old, male, lives in FL. First pair of snowboard goggles that I have ever bought. Was using a pair of oakley a-frames, but the lenses got scratched on the inside which made them useless. The goggles fogged up all the time, too, which led to constantly having to take them off, and deal with it - not fun on the one nearly-whiteout conditions/powder day we had.So, I knew I wanted to buy a new pair of my own goggles and knew I wanted something with an extremely huge field of view. I wanted my vision to not be a factor that in any way that would impair my ability to ride down the mountain. I was recommended by a friend to check these out, and did my comparisons and read reviews online, as well as price checking.I chose the black gloss/orange lens because it was the best deal at the time, $78.71 including shipping(Feb, 2012). And there are two (obvious) reasons for that price. (1) The color/design on the frame, and (2) the lens color. Yes, there are a lot of cool designs out there, but they just add more to the price and in turn contribute nothing to the functionality. Whereas money spent on a replacement lens that also looks cooler, can be used for different light conditions, and you'll now have two lenses, is money better spent. More on that later. Also, it works out for me that the black gloss frame pretty much goes with anything anyways. So I got the awesome eg2.5 frames and could plan to shop later for a cooler replacement lens. I believe this is where more of the cool factor is paid for anyway, and at that point in time I was stoked just to have the clear orange and that amazing deal (from Amazon of course). Finally, the review:*The clear orange lenses and the eg2.5 frame were amazing. They pretty much satisfied my one real need, which was to not have to worry about not being able to see and at a great price. Went to Colorado in March 2012 (not much snow and warm temps).**The goggles did not fog once during the entire trip. I never had to take them offto defog, even with a facemask tucked under the goggle - couldn't believe it. Ifyou never have to use a terry cloth, you don't run the risk of scratching thegoggles - plus the added anti-scratch whatever. I can't say anything about thatcoating, just that less time defogging equals less chance of you scratching.***I could SEE EVERYTHING. Peripheral vision is amazing, and more than the A-framesI was using previously.****They were extremely comfortable and you forget you're wearing anything, besidesthe change in color hue you see, because the goggle is so expansive.*****Inherently they look cool, design or not, cool finish or not. They look cool. And now I have the silver bronze mirror lens that completely change the dynamic of my look and make me look feel like robocop.Ultimately, having great vision and being able to clearly without distortion (thanks to spherical shape) is probably the safest and most important thing you need to have on the mountain. Since I wasn't worrying about my vision, I was able to focus more on riding.Back to the Replacement Lens Topic. Since I was able to get such a good deal on the goggles I decided it would be reasonable to spend money on a well-priced replacement lens. The 'see-through' replacement lenses for these goggles you will notice online will cost around $30-45 (clear, yellow, orange). This is pretty much the same in terms of functionality points as the orange one that came with the lens, the other colors are just for different conditions. To add style points, I wanted to go for a mirrored lens. The average chrome/"mirrored" replacement lenses are about $50-75. Somehow, I was able to get a bronze silver chrome replacement lens for $25 shipped. This replacement is about $60 online. In total I spent about $105 and now have two lenses and the frame. If you can hold out and wait for a good deal on a mirrored lens, that would seem the best thing to do if you are on a budget, like I was.I chose the electric eg2.5's because the reviews were good, they look great, and they offer excellent visibility. At the price, I was able to get a goggle that offered probably as much view as any of the competitors. I'm sure certain color combinations go up and down in price, you just gotta watch for it and snag the deals.

These are the sickest goggles ever. Anyone should love the wide vision it has. You should defenitly buy these. The best part is the no scratch coating they put on it. I like the Anti-fog technology too. I would recomend these goggles to anyone!

5Very happy with the goggles
By Shawshank
Bought these on a whim after some days on the mountain fogging up with my Dragons - So far i have had no problems with these goggles fogging. I need to track down some more lenses though, for low light, as the ones that come with are best in bright light.
