Great stick - the ability to adjust it wins this one over fixed length others. First - you try it in different length - it allows for different technique of riding/pushing. Second - storage and ease of transportation. Third - great total body workout! Forth - breaking ability and supporting ability. Just wanted to share my appreciation, hope this helps.

been wanting to buy a stick for a year...but was hesitant due to sizing...i am in between height requirements for the bamboo sticks so when they came out w/ an adjustable one, i bought it. its perfect. first one in town to own one.

I really enjoy using the Big Stick with my long board for dry-land paddling. I like that it's adjustable so anybody can use it, plus it will collapse into a short package for travel or storage. I think I'll eventually splurge on a nice bamboo model, but I'll always keep this one as a "loaner" for friends who want to give it a try.
