By Tezza
Very easy to apply. It has a little applicator pad. Just put the lightest coating on, wait 15 minutes, and then polish off with a cloth. The resulting wax is very hard and very slippery. You can wax just the glide part of the ski, but it's recommended for those with waxless skis that you can wax the scales as well. One word of warning, however. The wax is scented with a perfume, but believe me you don't want to inhale this stuff. Wax your skis outside or in a very well ventilated room. Do not wax in an enclosed area. There's probably enough wax in the tin to do about 40 waxes or more. Given that you only need to wax an XC ski for every 20 miles covered, this tin will last you (and your partner) about 5-10 years depending on how much you ski.

By Colin Stark
I've been using this stuff for years...great wax in a pinch! Just used it at A Basin this past weekend...warm, soft snow (slushy in spots) and my skis were nice and slick! It's been great for me in all conditions...just one step shy of a shop wax. This stuff dries almost immediately...there's a little applicator in the tin - just rub a little on over the length of the ski, buffing a thin layer on in a circular motion like you're waxing a car...buff it off with a rough cloth. (I use an old wash cloth.) Once the surface feels slick and not sticky with the cloth, you're good. I do the wax on one ski then the next, then go back and buff it right away...you can do both skis in about 3 minutes.Probably enough in the tin for 10 or so ski waxes I'm guessing? Fewer snowboards, of course...would highly recommend keeping a tin in your pack!

The glide wax makes the skis slide well, no sticking, and because it is a paste it lasts longer than the spray.
