I bought this board 25 years ago and still own it, in good condition, today. The leash never pulled through and it's been used and abused by a dozen of my nieces and nephews. Dragged, beaten, blasted in the surf. Every kid in our family wants, uncle Joe's Boogie board, not that flimsy weak one.I think I got my moneys worth considering MY kids are still using it.
