Product Description

Summit introduces their wide body 87 cm length skiboard complete with 4 stainless steel inserts to mount traditional skiboard non-release bindings as well as snowboard bindings. These symmetrical twin tip skiboards are constructed specifically for high performance riding with stability at speeds that is especially insane given the length and work great even in powder. These push the limits of whats possible on shorter length skiboards. The parabolic sidecut delivers almost effortless lay-it-over carves. The high energy, lively vertically laminated birch wood core is sandwiched between two top layers of triaxial fiberglass, a layer of Kevlar (enhances strength) and a bottom layer of triaxial fiberglass providing just the right combination of flex and torsional stiffness that offers an incredibly smooth ride. Rubber dampening layer absorbs vibrations.

The Jade features a consistent tip to tail flex that is smooth. These rip the moguls, fly through the glades with super fast turns and still hold a solid edge when flying down the groomed runs. With an 88 degree bevel, edges hold even on ice.

Non-release: Snowjam Extreme II, Bomber Elite bindings or any other 4 hole mount skiboard bindings.

These feature a custom designed top sheet and were created with one goal in mind - to take the sport of skiboarding to a new level of performance. functional, comfortable but scratch

Bought models I/OS and I/O for wife and me. Both came with two lenses: Ignitor Mirror (VLT 35%, multipurpose all around light conditions) and Sensor Mirror (VLT 70% flat and low light conditions). The Sensor lens is ideal for skiing in cloudy and stormy days, we used both models during a heavy blizzard and the lens performed as well as we could hope for. Using anti-fog Fog-tech wipes we had very minimal fogging. Cons: lenses scratch very easily. We had read about that in another review so we were extremely careful. We also followed manufacturer's instructions not to wipe lenses when wet or humid. Despite all our care, lenses show some scratches just after one day of use (can't image having to pay so much attention on a regular basis!!!). At 50$ a lens, it's pretty bad when they scratch just by sitting in the box or looking at them. The hard plastic used for both the buckle and length adjustments can easily be one of the sources of possible scratches.Update: Since the initial review we had a chance to try the Ignitor mirror lens too. We were worried the lens was too light for a seriously sunny day, but to our surprise it performed rather well. We used it in a as "bright as you can think" day (gosh... I should post the pictures here to make you believe) and it didn't let us down. The shade color allowed for a smooth transition from completely sunny to shadow areas of the slopes and we it worked well throughout the day for different lights.Overall we are really happy with the purchase we made. We are planning to buy spares and we are seriously considering to repurchase the same lenses.

I am a woman. I have always had an issue with goggles as they were always too big or too small. These fit great and adjusted nicely. They are extremely comfortable. The visibility is fantastic. Being able to change the lens is wonderful and cost effective. The goggles come with 2 lenses. With a lens change, I went from a bright sunny day to night skiing with perfect visibility. The only issue I had with fogging was my own fault. It was bitterly cold at night so I put my turtle over my nose inside of my goggles on the lift. The tops fogged up but cleared really quickly once I put my turtle back down and started down the slope. Hands down, these are the best goggles I have ever used and I've been skiing for over 40 years.

Best ski goggles I've ever had

I used to be a huge Oakley fanboy, and was hesitant to try anything else when my old Oakley died. WOW. These are comfortable, works great with helmets, and the field of vision is amazing. I also love how easy it is to change out lenses to fit the changing light conditions day-to-day.I'm now a Smith believer. Especially these I/Os goggles! They are so good, I got a pair for my gf, and she loves them too!
